“Imagine” also features musician Basel Khory, who I met during an impromptu recording session in Nevada City back in 2014. From the recordings I created a basic idea, and was visiting my friend Diego (Metrika) in Mexico City when I played it for him and we continued to work on it. I had tested the song a few times in my DJ sets to great reaction, but never finished it. So I recently went back, mixed it down, and added some final spice. The lyrics were written on the spot by Basel, and also he plays the Karachi string instrument.
